Banksy made several versions of the statue of David over the years, but the first one was done in 2006 and auctioned in London in 2007.

In 2009, he created another David statue, the only difference is that it was wearing a suicide bomber’s jacket and a scarf around his face. This version has been nicknamed Bulletproof David (Suicide Bomber) or Suicide Man.
